Release Guide

Everything you need to prepare, submit and get paid for your releases with Cerutex Audio.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Getting started

Create your free account on the Cerutex Artist Hub at sounds.cerutexaudio.com, complete your artist profile, then start a new release from the Upload page.

2. Audio requirements

  • Lossless files only: WAV or FLAC.
  • 16-bit or 24-bit, 44.1 kHz or higher.
  • No MP3s, no silence padding, no clipping.

3. Cover art requirements

  • Exactly square, 3000 × 3000 px, JPG or PNG.
  • No blurry images, website URLs, social handles, or store logos.
  • Text on the artwork must match the artist name and release title.

4. Metadata & credits

Enter the artist name, release title, genre, record label/imprint and release date exactly as you want them shown in stores.

Add every collaborator with their role and royalty share. Splits must total 100%.

5. ISRC & UPC codes

We assign free ISRC codes for every track and a UPC for every release. If you already have codes, enter them during upload.

6. Release scheduling

Submit your release at least 7 days before the release date. This gives time for review and delivery to 100+ DSPs worldwide.

7. Review & delivery

Every release is checked by our team. You'll see its status on your dashboard — Pending Review, Processing, Live or Rejected (with feedback on what to fix).

8. Royalties & payouts

You keep 70% of your royalties. Earnings appear on your Royalties page, and you can request a payout once your balance reaches $25.

9. Takedowns & corrections

Request a takedown or metadata correction from the release's card on your dashboard. Need help? Email cerutexaudio@proton.me.
